For a wide range of geothermal projects, Kelly supplies seamless OCTG casing and tubing in the full complement of geothermal grades from low carbon to high alloy, as well as CRA grades in uncommon OD’s and various walls and premium threads. In addition, the Company sources hard to find items as well as offering a variety of perforating and slotting options to meet customer needs.

Examples of geothermal drilling supported by Kelly are the Geysers and Heber plants in California. The Geysers generates 725MW of capacity, utilizing 350 wells with an average 8,000 foot depth. The process applies concurrent treated waste water to steam reservoir recharge through the 70 miles of underground pipeline.
